The New Orleans Pelicans began play in the late 1800s and joined the Southern Association in 1901. The team captured three straight league championships from 1932–1934 — the latter two years also adding Dixie Series titles against the Texas League champion in the minor leagues.
The franchise was sold and moved in 1960 shortly before the Southern Association itself folded. A revival Pelicans team played one season at the Superdome in 1977 before disappearing again. Hall of Famers who suited up for New Orleans included Dazzy Vance, Joe Sewell, Bob Lemon, Earl Weaver, Tony La Russa, and Shoeless Joe Jackson.

- Type the number and/or name you'd like on the jersey in the customization fields. You can leave the name field blank if you only want a number.
- To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.
Important review carefully before ordering
Once your order is placed:
- Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
- Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Construction options
Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.
Custom measurements
We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.
Blank-jersey exchanges
Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.
Expedited shipping
Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
