The Toronto St. Patricks were the continuation of the Toronto Arenas franchise, sold in December 1919 to a Toronto St. Patricks (of the OHA) ownership group fronted by Charlie Querrie. The new ownership adopted a shorter version of their amateur club's name, changed the team colors to green and white, and pitched the rebrand to Toronto's substantial Irish community.
The St. Patricks captured the Stanley Cup in 1922, defeating the Pacific Coast Hockey Association's Vancouver Millionaires three games to two in the final series. Babe Dye — the franchise's signature star, who led the major professional hockey league in goals scored three times (1920–21, 1922–23, 1924–25) — scored nine goals in the five-game final, including all four in the Cup-clinching game. The St. Patricks remained a competitive franchise through the 1920s before Conn Smythe purchased the team in February 1927 and renamed it the Toronto Maple Leafs — the rebrand that established one of the most enduring identities in Legacy Hockey history.

- To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.
Important review carefully before ordering
Once your order is placed:
- Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
- Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Construction options
Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.
Custom measurements
We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.
Blank-jersey exchanges
Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.
Expedited shipping
Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.
