Titles: 1975 ABA champions
The Kentucky Colonels played all nine seasons of the ABA from 1967 to 1976 at Freedom Hall in Louisville. Along with the Indiana franchise, they were the only ABA team to stay in the same city for the league's entire run. The Colonels captured the 1975 ABA championship by defeating the Indiana Pacers 4–1 in the Finals.
Coached by Hall of Famer Hubie Brown during the championship years, the Colonels' roster was anchored by Dan Issel, 7-foot-2 center Artis Gilmore (1972 ABA Rookie of the Year and 1972 MVP), and longtime point guard Louie Dampier. Despite consistent winning, the Colonels were not invited to merge into the senior league after 1976 and folded — owner John Y. Brown took the buyout and used the funds to purchase the Buffalo Braves.

How to order
- Type the number and/or name you'd like on the jersey in the customization fields. You can leave the name field blank if you only want a number.
- To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.
Important review carefully before ordering
Once your order is placed:
- Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
- Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Construction options
Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.
Custom measurements
We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.
Blank-jersey exchanges
Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe
Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.
Expedited shipping
Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
