In 1964, Roller Derby’s Chicago Westerners debuted under a new name, the Chicago (Midwest) Pioneers under coach Russ Massro, and women’s captain, Mary Youpelle.  The team was usually a visiting team in the Bay Area but did skate home games in the Chicago area. In the following years, there were several different coaches and captains.  In 1969, the duo of Bill Groll and Ann Calvello would lead the team until the national expansion in the autumn of 1971.  At that point, Gil Orozco and Joan Weston, former Bay Bombers mainstays took over the coach and captain positions of the red, white, and blue Pioneers.  When Gil Orozco returned to the Bombers in the summer of 1972, lead pivot, Ronnie Robinson, took over the coaching duties.  The Pioneers were always a contender at play-off time.  Robinson and Weston ran the team until Derby folded.  The team was re-activated in the International Roller Skating League in 1977.

Check the LEAVE BLANK box and jersey will not have any name or number. This still requires production time we as do not keep blank jerseys in stock.

Customization :

Some jerseys have options for different application methods, sleeve lengths or add-ons including patches.

Further Customization :

Custom measurements are available by request including women's and youth sizes.

Shipping

Shipping Timeframe:

Custom jerseys are made when ordered and may take anywhere from 3-8 weeks. Please refer to the estimated shipping times shown in the Decoration Type screen as you move through the customization options.

Expedited Shipping:

Expedited Shipping will not speed up production time. It only affects the method we use to ship your order once completed. Please contact us if you need your jersey by a certain date.

Changes/ Cancellations/ Returns

Changes and Cancellations:

Please review all order details closely. We cannot make any changes to an order 48 hours after purchase.

Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Returns/Exchanges:

All custom jersey sales are final.

If a jersey arrives damaged or with errors, we will remake it at no charge or a process a full refund.
