Team: West Palm Beach Tropics
Years Active: 1989–1990 (SPBA)
Home: West Palm Beach Municipal Stadium — West Palm Beach, FL
Titles: 1989–90 SPBA Northern Division champions (best regular-season record)

The West Palm Beach Tropics were one of eight charter franchises in the Senior Professional Baseball Association, a winter league for retired major leaguers 35 and older (32 for catchers) that played one full season in 1989–90 before collapsing financially midway through its second. Managed by Dick Williams, the Tropics posted the league's best regular-season record at 52–20 but lost the championship game to the St. Petersburg Pelicans.

Notable Tropics included Rollie Fingers, Mickey Rivers, Toby Harrah, Dock Ellis, Steve Henderson, and Bob Tolan. The SPBA was the brainchild of California businessman Jim Morley, giving fans a chance to see retired stars back on the field.
