Team: Detroit Drive
Years Active: 1988–1993
Home: Joe Louis Arena — Detroit, MI
Titles: 4× ArenaBowl champions (1988, 1989, 1990, 1992)

The Detroit Drive were the defining dynasty of the AFL's first era, winning four ArenaBowl titles across six seasons at Joe Louis Arena — three straight from 1988 to 1990, then a fourth in 1992.

Head coach Tim Marcum, who had won ArenaBowl I with Denver, built the system behind the run, with quarterback Art Schlichter and receiver Gary Mullen anchoring the offense. The Drive folded after the 1993 season, but their four-title run remains one of the most successful stretches in arena football history.
