About the Nashville Kats
The Nashville Kats are one of arena football's most distinctive franchises. The original Kats played in the AFL from 1997 through 2001 before relocating, then returned to Nashville from 2005 through 2007. The Kats developed one of the most loyal regional fanbases in indoor football. After the original AFL's 2019 closure, the Nashville Kats were among the classic franchise names revived for Arena Football One (AF1) in 2024.
