The Toledo Goaldiggers were one of the great minor-pro hockey dynasties of the late-20th-century International Hockey League (IHL), capturing four Turner Cup championships across their 12-season run in Toledo. The 1974–75 Goaldiggers — an inaugural expansion team — won the franchise's first title in what local fans dubbed "The Miracle on Main Street," a championship few believed possible from a first-year team.

The Goaldiggers added Turner Cups in 1978, 1982, and 1983, establishing themselves as one of the IHL's premier organizations of the era. Playing at the Toledo Sports Arena and drawing some of the most loyal crowds in late-1970s and early-1980s minor pro hockey, the Goaldiggers folded after the 1985–86 season — but their four-banner championship legacy remains one of the most decorated short-run histories in IHL annals.
