The Minnesota Moose brought professional hockey back to Minnesota for two seasons after the Minnesota North Stars relocated to Dallas in 1993. Joining the International Hockey League (IHL) as a 1994 expansion franchise, the Moose played at the Saint Paul Civic Center and gave the "State of Hockey" a major-minor-league team to support while the region waited for its eventual return to the top tier with the Minnesota Wild in 2000.

Despite drawing reasonable crowds, the Moose lasted only two seasons in Minnesota before financial pressures forced a relocation to Winnipeg for the 1996–97 season — where the franchise became the Manitoba Moose and ultimately joined the American Hockey League after the 2001 IHL merger. The Saint Paul Civic Center's iconic clear boards and the Moose's distinctive logo made the franchise one of the most visually memorable short-run experiments of 1990s IHL hockey.

  • To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.

Once your order is placed:

  • Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
  • Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Construction options

Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.

Custom measurements

We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.

Blank-jersey exchanges

Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.

Expedited shipping

Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
