The St. Louis Flyers were a long-running professional minor-league hockey franchise in St. Louis from the 1930s through the early 1950s, playing across multiple leagues and giving the Gateway City a stable hockey identity for two decades before the modern era arrived. Founded in 1932 in the American Hockey Association, the Flyers eventually transitioned into the broader Minor League Hockey ranks after WWII.

The Flyers played at the St. Louis Arena and served as a development affiliate for various top-tier organizations across the franchise's two decades of operation. Long-time players including Earl Robertson, Cliff Goupille, and others anchored the franchise's competitive teams of the late 1940s. The Flyers folded after the 1952–53 season, ending St. Louis's pre-modern professional hockey chapter — the city would not return to top-tier professional hockey until the modern expansion era of the late 1960s.
