The Connecticut Coasters played three seasons in Roller Hockey International (RHI) from 1995 to 1997, bringing professional roller hockey to Connecticut and competing across the New England market. The Coasters' beach-and-summer-themed identity stood out among the more aggressive RHI marketing approaches of the era. The franchise folded with the RHI's 1997 suspension.
