Titles: 3× consecutive Eastern Colored League champions (1923, 1924, 1925) — 1925 Negro World Series champions
While the team had no official nickname (many called them the Darby Daisies), it did not prevent the Hilldale Club from becoming one of the greatest teams in NLB history. With a loaded roster of Hall of Famers, the Hilldale Club won three straight championships in the 1920s before folding due to the Great Depression in 1932.
Hall of Fame players included Judy Johnson, Oscar Charleston, Biz Mackey, Louis Santop, Martin Dihigo, and Pop Lloyd.
