The Hamburg Sea Devils played three seasons in the WLAF / NFL Europe from 2005 to 2007 at the AOL Arena (later renamed the Volksparkstadion), arriving as one of the league's last expansion franchises before NFL Europa dissolved. Hamburg captured World Bowl XV in June 2007, defeating the Frankfurt Galaxy 37–28 — the final championship of the European era.

Just weeks after the Sea Devils raised the final trophy, the NFL announced that NFL Europa would shut down after the 2007 season. Hamburg's title remains the closing chapter of the WLAF / NFL Europe story, and the Sea Devils are forever the last World Bowl champions.

  • To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.

Once your order is placed:

  • Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
  • Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Construction options

Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.

Custom measurements

We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.

Blank-jersey exchanges

Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.

Expedited shipping

Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
