The Vancouver Millionaires were a charter member of the Pacific Coast Hockey Association, founded in 1911 by Frank and Lester Patrick. In 1915 the Millionaires swept the Ottawa Senators to win the Stanley Cup, the first West Coast team to capture professional hockey's championship.

Anchored by Hall of Famers Cyclone Taylor, Hugh Lehman, Mickey MacKay, and Frank Nighbor, the club reached the Cup final five times and won four PCHA pennants across eleven seasons at Denman Arena, the world's largest indoor rink when it opened in 1911. The franchise was renamed the Vancouver Maroons in 1922 and folded when the PCHA disbanded in 1924.
