Team: Orlando Renegades
Years Active: 1985
Home: Florida Citrus Bowl — Orlando, FL
The Orlando Renegades were the rebranded continuation of the Washington Federals, relocating to Florida for the original USFL's final 1985 season. Coached by Lee Corso — in his only pro head coaching stint — and quarterbacked by Jerry Golsteyn and Reggie Collier, the Renegades went 5–13 at the Florida Citrus Bowl.
Despite the losing record, Orlando showed that central Florida could support pro football. The Renegades folded along with the rest of the USFL at the end of the 1985 season.
