Team: Quebec Rafales
Years Active: 1996–1998 (IHL)
Home: Colisée de Québec — Quebec City, QC

The Quebec Rafales were the relocated Atlanta Knights, moved to Quebec City for the 1996–97 season after the Quebec Nordiques left for Denver. Playing in the International Hockey League at the Colisée de Québec — the same arena that had hosted the Nordiques — the Rafales tried to fill the void left by the team's departure.

The Rafales played just two seasons in Quebec City. Despite a passionate hockey market, ownership challenges and the lingering shadow of the Nordiques' departure made the franchise hard to sustain, and it folded in August 1998 — one of the shortest-lived pro hockey runs of the 1990s.
