The Senators name was originally used by a franchise that played in the major leagues from 1891 to 1899. Two years later, the name was revived by a new American League team in Washington, DC. Neither version experienced much sustained success, with their lone World Series title coming in 1924 behind the great Walter Johnson.
In an unusual move, the second incarnation of the Senators relocated to Minnesota after the 1960 season and an expansion team took its place in 1961. With all new players and management, this third Senators club shared nothing with the prior team but the name. The final Senators franchise had only one winning season — managed by Hall of Famer Ted Williams in 1969 — before playing its final game in 1971 and relocating to Dallas–Fort Worth. Hall of Famers across all three franchises included Harmon Killebrew, Walter Johnson, Joe Cronin, Goose Goslin, Sam Rice, Bucky Harris, and Heinie Manush.

How to order
- Type the number and/or name you'd like on the jersey in the customization fields. You can leave the name field blank if you only want a number.
- To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.
Important review carefully before ordering
Once your order is placed:
- Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
- Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Construction options
Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.
Custom measurements
We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.
Blank-jersey exchanges
Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe
Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.
Expedited shipping
Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
