The North Pole Nicks were members of the Alaska Baseball League — a wood-bat collegiate summer circuit — from 1980 to 1991 (with one year off in 1988). Founded as a Fairbanks-based club, the Nicks eventually built their own ballpark in the small town of North Pole, Alaska, just southeast of Fairbanks. They were one of legacy baseball's most unique franchises by virtue of their geography alone.

1986 was the franchise's signature season: the Nicks captured the Alaska Baseball League title and went on to win the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kansas — a remarkable double for a club from one of the most remote outposts in college summer baseball. The franchise dissolved after the 1991 season.

  • To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.

  • Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
  • Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Construction options

Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.

Custom measurements

We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.

Blank-jersey exchanges

Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.

Expedited shipping

Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Domestic rates

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
