The Georgia Force played 10 seasons across two AFL eras — 2002 to 2008 in AFL II, then 2010 to 2012 in the revival. The Force played at Philips Arena (now State Farm Arena) and reached ArenaBowl XIX in 2005, falling to the Colorado Crush 51–48.
Atlanta's AFL chapter built one of the more durable Southeast franchises across both eras of the league. The Force folded after the 2012 season as the AFL's revival continued to consolidate franchises through the 2010s.
