The Corpus Christi Sharks were a professional indoor football club based on the Texas Gulf Coast, playing their home games at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi. Entering af2 as an expansion franchise in 2007, the Sharks competed for three seasons before folding in October 2009 when the developmental league itself shut down. During their short existence the club gave Corpus Christi a presence in organized indoor football and was one of several Texas entries in the circuit during its final years.
