The Toledo Goaldiggers were one of the great minor-pro hockey dynasties of the late 20th century, capturing four International Hockey League Turner Cup championships across their 12-season run. The 1974–75 Goaldiggers — an inaugural expansion team — won the franchise's first title in what local fans dubbed "The Miracle on Main Street."

The Goaldiggers added Turner Cups in 1978, 1982, and 1983, establishing themselves as one of the IHL's premier organizations of the era, before folding after the 1985–86 season.
