Kezar Stadium opened in 1925 in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. It hosted many college and high school football games before becoming the home of the city's pro football team in 1946. They left in 1969 and moved into Candlestick Park. Kezar was also used by Oakland's former pro football team during their first season (1960). The park has undergone many renovations over the years and is now much smaller than it was in its heyday. However, it's still hosts many sporting events and is the current home of the city's soccer team.
